''when it comes to getting more supplies do you really think that someone will still be running a shop?'' Quinn asked, ''can't be bothered to steal, thats all we can do, it won't even properly be called stealing, more like surviving'' she rumaged through her bag and found the pack of batteries she had packed, she never really had anything that needed batteries to run so she always kept them in the kitchen cupboard, she chucked them over to Nova
''and anyway, if the zombies have stopped yelling it either means we're gonna die or that we're safe for now''

"They can't get in. They're too stupid. Thanks Quinn." Nova put the batteries in her bag next to the torch and shivered at the situation. "You know, seeing as we've locked ourselves in here... Maybe we can have some fun? Like exploring parts of the school we haven't seen before. After all we can pick up some extra items on the way and I've discovered the caretaker spends most of his time looking at porno. Unless anybody has any other ideas..?"

''what interesting parts in a school are there? thats why i only spend about 3 hours hear until i get bored and go shopping'' Quinn said, still leaning against the wall and staring into space ''and the food supplys are kind of limited because since its the weekend they will have almost ran out of food, they hardly sell anything edible here anyway, i'm not being a downer or anything, i'm just saying that schools are designed to keep students IN and not to keep supernatural beings with hunger for our flesh OUT'' Quinn slid down the wall and clutched her knees to our chest ''and unless you've forgotton there is a broken wooden fence at the back of the school field, and it's only a matter of time before THEY find it and get on the school grounds''

"Erm... we could always go to tech and find some way of fixing the fence!" Alyssa folded her arms, the tech room used to be one of her favourite classrooms; she could get there blindfolded if she had to.

Urgh, i hate going there now, or rather i hate the teacher...

Ariana crouched near the hole in the fence, she remembered it so well from when she used to attend the school; she reached towards the fence only for her pale hand to go straight through it.

Personality: Quite a shy and worried girl. Often feels like there's too much pressure and can have small nervous breakdowns at times (Quite rarely though)
Other info: Often draws to show what has happened throughout the day rather than keeping a diary of words.

Alyssa grabbed her flute case and her bag just in case she couldn't get back, she then pulled a nearby 1m ruler.

"Right i'm off to Tech!" She said before running out of the room, she held her ruler above her head and spun around every few seconds just to check behind her. She put her hand on the cold door handle.

"Hello?" She called into the darkness, Alyssa heard a scraping on the floor,"Who's there?" She raised her ruler towards where she thought whatever it was and hit it.

Eden felt something hit her on the back of the head.
"Ow..." she mumbled. She picked up her book and emerged from under the desk to find a girl stood with a little black case and a 1m rule.
"Wh-what was that for...?" Eden stuttered. Her voice was very quiet and timid. The girl she was looking at didn't look very scary or... dead, so she just looked at her and rubbed the sore spot on the back of her head.

"Erm... sorry?" Alyssa smiled weakly and held out her hand,"Your the second person i've done that to... It's really scary now..>" She trembled through the sentence.

Your too nervous! She told herself, You can't let your fears take over you like that!

"Right, i need to fix a broken fence," She tried to sound confident and failed, Why try your just shy, nervous, clumsy Alyssa, you won't come to much, the world is falling apart... She told herself.

Eden pondered over the thought of helping and actually interacting with people for a moment.
"C-c-could I help atall?" She asked, clutching her sketchbook.

She knew she wouldn't be able to stay on her own at a time like this.

"Erm sure..." Alyssa carefully moved around the classroom staying out of any shadows. Don't let the fear take over you... She told herself.

"I'm Alyssa by the way..."

Ariana wondered how long it would take the people in the school to realise there was a hole in the fence... she wondered about telling the zombies but she found it cruel and she knew how terrifying it could be to be chased by some sort of monster.

"I'm Eden..." She said back, trying to sound a little more confident.

Eden grabbed a little tool box which was lying on one of the tables and set off with Alyssa to help fix the fence. She felt very insecure and scared but had to learn how to stand up for herself.

''so what are we supposed to do?!'' Quinn said sounding distressed ''i won't be able to help them, i'm not good with wood, i'm more of a mechanics girl'' Quinn thought of the Garage she normally stopped by at and watched how they worked and assembled the cars, she could hot wire a car if she wanted to, but shes isn't THAT much of a troublemaker, shes looking for respect and fear not an arrest.
Then she thought of the people who worked at the garage, she wondered if they were out there, trying to stay safe like her, or weather they were one of the many unlucky ones who are being slaughtered in the middle of the street...she hoped it was the first one.

Trace sat down at the pavement with the vampire standing next to her, she was bored, and when shes bored she kills....she kills when shes in any mood actually but shes more likely to when shes bored.
''oi vampire! what do you do for fun? because i'm this close to smashing every window in this street that havn't already been smashed''

Nova shuffled from one foot to the other while staring at the space where Alyssa had stood.
"Ok. We're in a school, surrounded by zombies. The lights could go out any minute and we have no idea who is in the school as well. What the hell do we do?!"
"Panic." muttered somebody from the back of the small crowd.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes in concentration.
"Ok. Anybody know where they keep the security system main room? They have cameras dotted around the school and I heard that they are solar powered in case of a power cut. I know it's not exactly day but they'll have energy stored surely?"

''now thats where i come in'' Quinn stood up and brushed dirt off her jeans ''i can get the power restored in no time, i'll just need some tools then i can get to work'' Quinn smiled proudly, she doubted that getting the power on would save their lives but she atleast wanted to seem helpful.

Alyssa charged across the field towards the fence, she couldn't slow down, her heart was beating too fast..."Finally..." She muttered as she reached the fence. She stared at the hole, it was about as big as her and incredibly easy to get through.

She grabbed the piece of wood her and Eden had nailed together and began to put it in place with Eden's help. She knew it wouldn't stop the werewolves or vampires but it would be enough to stop the zombies at least and it was only zombies in the area anyway.

"Need a hand?" Ariana asked.

"Erm... no we're fine, almost done now."

How the hell did she get in everything is closed off, the only place was the hole but we have been working on that for a long time so we would've seen her. Alyssa thought. Hold on...

"Could you just hold this please?" Alyssa threw a toolbox at the girl which went right through her,"Eden... i think now we should... RUN!"

Nova ran her fingers along the edge of her golf club thoughtfully.
"We better stay here until the others get back They may get worried if we run off."

She glanced at her battered wrist watch and clicked her tongue against her teeth. "Three AM. I suppose the vampires can't go out in the day time..? Surely..?"

Alyssa charged towards Nova almost knocking her over.

"We have problems there are ghosts and no matter how much we re-inforce they can get through..." Alyssa panicked and dropped her tools on the floor, she grabbed a hammer and slipped it into her bag,"Is there anywhere that ghosts can't go? I don't know what they'd do when they got to us but it can't be good."

Nova stumbled into a few other members of the group and everybody took a few seconds to keep their balance.

Nova bit her lip and thought. She seemed to be the leader here because nobody had any ideas. She'd always been good at taking charge. In other words she was bossy. She thought for a moment.

"Ghosts are not solid and they can go through things right. So if they tried to hurt us they'd judt go right throuh us? I mean they can't do any harm can they?"

Nova had her doubts.

"But i've read books and seen stuff on the internet 'cause i used to love all of this screepy stuff then i went off it. Why doesn't matter. But anyway i looked at all of these websites some with loads of old information. But you don't need that information to have heard about poltergeists they throw things at people and i've heard some stories of people claiming to have been posessed..." Alyssa charged through what she was saying without stopping for breath.

"Very clever," She heard a disembodied voice, suddenly a figure flashed into view.

"Maybe if we run far enough we can lose her..." Alyssa shrugged.

Other info: His parents are often absorbed in work and they don't really notice him much. He's an only child but isn't really spoilt.

Mark ran up and down the streets panicking. Oh god! His home was the other side of town and he couldn't get back to his parents. He clutched his ruck sack and shopping bag full of groceries in panic. If only he hadn't stopped at the park and dawdled! The streets were empty and he could hear screaming in the distance. He stopped running and started to attempt to pull himself together.
"No... No... No... You can't cry..."

Nova froze and stared at the face.
"Oh...my...god..."

"Right er..." Alyssa stuttered towards the ghost, it got closer and closer to her,"What are you gunna do posess me off a cliff?" She asked,"RUN! We could still lose her if we're fast enough," She set off as fast as she could struggling with the weight of her bag.

Nova grabbed everybodys arms and pulled them after Alyssa. The corridors flashed past her eyes. Where to hide?

They were running up to the cookery corrdior. Would they be locked..? Her only hope was Mrs. Parrow who was always careless. She pulled everybody against the door and it burst open. She slammed it shut and leapt behind one of the counters.

Mark bit into the wrist of his free arm and breathed heavily. It was ok. He needed to find somewhere where he could stay safe. He shuffled down the street looking all around him. It was so late... Three in the morning! If only he hadn't ran so quickly away from that wolf. In the wrong direction and all. He glanced at the blood stained tissue that was wrapped around the gash in his arm and winced. Suddenly up ahead he saw it. School.

"She could be invisible or she could have posessed someone..." Alyssa whispered to Nova,"We should ask everyone a question that only we know the answer too like what was the first classroom we went in..."

Alyssa breathed heavily as she moved to another corner of the classroom a lighter area, still trying to stay uot of the shadows.

Ariana glided through the corridors looking inside every classroom, she couldn't see them at all. They had taken her the wrong way, she wasn't out to kill or anything just sick of people assumingshe was. SHe had thought to live up to their expectations.

Nova was still shaking. Great. The ghost could be here. She clenched her fists and thought for a minute.

"Ok. So... Back to the plan! We're going to nick a teachers a car remember?" Blank faces looked back.
"Um... What?"
"Oh good! None of us are possessed by the ghostie. And I'm not because my mums a weirdo who runs around in big dresses and Alyssa got tripped over today and we had a sword fight with a baseball bat and a giant pole. And the caretaker has porno magazines."

Mark took a deep breath and tried to climb over the gate. The wound in his arm began to sting even more. He cried out and stopped. How would he get in..? He sighed. It was risky but it was his only option.

"Help!" he called, his throat cracked and worn. "HELP!" He called louder this time. Then he took a deep breath and bellowed it as loud as he could.
"HEELLLPPP!!!!!"

He looked around quickly to see if anything had snuck up. He was alone.

Alyssa jumped as she heard a cry coming from the school gates.

"Whoever that is ghost or not we can't leave him!" She lept up from the corner she was sitting in and ran to the door,"Not all of us need to go or we'll attract attention..." She looked at the room full of people and turned around expecting Nova to be the one who would go.

Alyssa took a step into the dark corridor and looked to her right.

"We've got company..." She started to charge down the corridor away from the ghost.
