Saphira shifted uncomfortably. She didn't want to think of two of her friends doing that kind of stuff. Though thinking about it, it would have had to have happened for a baby to be made.

Josh was impatient now.
"Oh come on... You know. Did it. The deed. Bumping uglies. Churning butter. Bonking. Burying the bone. Doing the nasty. Nail. Screw. Made love. Getting laid. Fucking. HAVING SEX."
"What...?" Alex asked, stunned.

"Oh Jesus Christ," Maya burrowed her head in her hands and collapsed on the table, "Seriously..." She felt a hand grab her ankle and a second later found herself on the floor beneath the table.

"Hi," Jake waved awkwardly, "I was lonely..."

"Brilliant," Maya rubbed the back of her head, "But they were just getting somewhere up there. So if you'd excuse me..."

"No wait!"

Tom was sat at a table close to his sister, disgustingly close. He opposite Catherine who was, predictably, bored. He nudged her and pointed to Jake under the table and clicked his fingers blinding and therefore disorientating him.

This time when he grabbed 'Maya's' ankle and pulled her down, he got someone else entirely.

Josh groaned and shoved Alex almost playfully.
"YOU PUT YOUR PENIS INSIDE OF SOPHIE." Alex gave him the same blank stare.
"What? No. That's gross. I'm a virgin." he insisted.

The table stared at him in a stunned silence.

Maya cried aloud in frustration, "Alex, she's pregnant. Right. Whatever. It's your baby correct?"
She didn't wait for an answer.
"So how in God's name can you be a virgin?"

"Seriously?!" Jake commented from beneath the table, "Wait, Maya... Aren't you... Down here?"

Saphira punched Jake in the face then climbed back up to her seat.
"No, that's my boob you're grabbing." Josh kicked again defensively then turned his attention back to Alex.

"Yeah, it's my baby, right?" Alex responded. "But I'm a virgin." The table shook their heads in confusion.
"Alex, you do know how babies are made right?" Saphira asked out of concern.
"Yeah, they blossom in the tummy when a couple love each other very much and then hug each other in a special way." he replied. "I'm really mad that it happened to me though. How bad is my luck?"

"What? No!" Jake cried up at the table, "I didn't mean to! Tom- He- He blinded me! I thought it was Maya."
"Perv, I can't see Tom anywhere," Maya replied sounding slightly hurt.

"'Special hug' the only thing 'special' 'round here is you mate," Maya commented, shaking her head.

Saphira squinted at Alex out of concern.
"Alex... Babies are made during sex." she replied. "Tell us you're joking."
"Sex..?" he asked weakly. "No... No I haven't- You must be mistaken." he muttered.

Everybody exchanged glances with one another awkwardly.

Leon sucked on his food seductively and touched Lance's knee under the table.
"You know, I've been awfully lonely lately."

"Alex, have you never had a sex ed lesson in your life?" Maya commented, "Even 9 year olds learn that in school now... Please tell me you are joking."

"If Alex isn't the father, who is?" Jake gasped.

"You are, now shut it," Maya kicked him and waited for a response.

Alex was shaking now.
"I... I never really paid attention to it all... Are you trying to tell me that I'm not a dad?" he asked.
"If you didn't have sex with her then no. You can't be." Josh answered slowly.

"Then... Sophie cheated on you." Saphira muttered.

Maya frowned, "That's the only possible explanation," She said slowly, "Babies aren't made by magic..." She said slowly.

The table descended into silence, even Jake became quiet as he slowly raised himself to share a seat with Maya who gripped his hand and sent him an alarmed glance.

Alex slowly stood up and looked away from everybody.
"See you guys around." he muttered as he trudged out of the 'restaurant'.

Lance kicked Leon and twisted away from him.
"Fine. I'll just go molest somebody else instead."

He stood up and walked away, glancing around until he spotted Tom.
"Hey Tom." he crooned.

"Leon," He nodded slowly, "What brings you here?"

Catherine shuffled and allowed Leon to sit next to her.

"Well, that was... awkward," Maya pursed her lips, "Poor guy."

She tried to fight the 'who do you think the father is?' that was already forming in her throat.

"Hey Tom, I'm lonely." Leon replied, placing a casual hand on his knee.

Josh sighed as the silence sunk in.
"I bet it was that Seb guy. He was creepy." he decided out loud. Saphira snorted.
"Nah, it was sooo that creepy Matt guy." she suggested.
"Uh, she was already pregnant when he appeared."
"He appeared just so he could be there for his pregnant lover."
"Nah, it was Seth."
"Tyler."
"Tom." Josh forcefully snapped.
"Mr. Body." Maya screamed. Everybody turned around in confusion.
"The teacher?"
"You were suggesting it was my little brother for god's sake."

"Hi Leon, so am I," Tom gripped Leon's hand and made his face as serious as possible, he leaned in closer.

"Well it's got to have been... I mean..." Maya struggled to explain myself, "It wasn't my brother anyway, I'm pretty sure he likes... LEON!?" She coughed as she saw her brother grabbing the boys hand, "Never mind..."

"Tyler or Seth, I think," Jake had gained his own seat now, "Although it's a pretty narrow margin. I can't imagine many guys would sleep with a 15 year old girl with a boyfriend..."

"You would."

Josh laughed explosively and stood up.

"OKAY GUYS. WHO HERE WOULD SLEEP WITH A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO HAD A BOYFRIEND?" Half of the guys stuck their hands up, including two fat bikers in the corner. Saphira scoffed out of disgust.

"Jake you're such a woman," Maya snorted.

"I never said I wouldn't..." Jake insisted. Maya glared at him and swatted him across the head, "Can I actually win?"

"Serious answer, no," Maya smiled sweetly, "Though I do get your point, poor ickle guys like you would get beaten up."

"Getting beaten up is part of my daily routine now..." Jake frowned and looked at the old bruises on his arms.

"Maybe you should stop teleporting into girl's undewear drawers then..."

"So, the father of this baby!" Jake quickly changed the subject, "I'd put a fiver on it being Tyler."

"OKAY CLASS, BACK TO THE BUS." Mr. Body shouted, ushering kids towards the door. People began to slowly edge back outside.

Josh sniffed.
"I reckon it was Seth. What do you think Saphira?"
"Well... Considering Kyra, Sophie and I shared a room... I'd say not likely. But then again if that were relevant, I suppose I would already know that she had cheated."

"Ugh, and she- I mean- she's 15! Pregnant! And she cheated!" Maya was struggling to comprehend any of it as she stood up having barely touched any of her food, "Hold on, hold the bus... Need to go to the toilet..."

Jake stood up and sniggered at Mr. Body, "Yano I'm not completely doubting that it was him..."

Leon squeezed Tom's knee and leaned in closer to mutter in his ear.
"I don't suppose you'd like to sit with me on the bus. I'm awfully lonely. Especially in such a strange place with all these strange new people." He sighed passionately.

Alex walked along the side of the road listening to the roar of the traffic. It was good news to know that he hadn't ruined his life but... His girlfriend had cheated on him. That made him feel awful.

"Of course I will, I'm lonely too," Tom smiled and leaned in closer much to Catherine's disdain. She glared at him, hoping he was simply humouring Leon as expected.

Jake paused by the 'Little Chef' souvenirs, debating whether or not to buy the pencil, or the rubber or, in fact, nothing at all.

Josh grabbed Jake's jacket and dragged him out of the building.
"Come on. We have to find Alex. It's our job as we are the ALPHA MALES." he insisted. Jake helplessly flailed after him.

"Thank you." Leon murmured as he moved his hand away. He winked at Catherine as he walked past and mouthed 'PLAYER' at her. She wrinkled her nose out of disgust.

"Alpha whatnow?!" Maya snorted as she emerged from the toilets, watching Jake get dragged away. She smiled and picked up the rubber and pencil that had fallen to the floor, quickly heading to the till.

"Fine, but let me walk for myself!" Jake stumbled backwards by his jacket, "Which way did he go anyway?!"

Tom smiled and walked side by side with Leon, "So, you're lonely... Is that really all you talk about?"

"I don't know. He can't have gne far though." Josh reassured as he marched out into the carpark.

"It's awfully lonely being a new kid at a strange school, Tom. Surely you understand that." Leon breathed wistfully.

"What about that way? The picnic area?" Jake squinted into the distance, "Wait wait wait wait wait... Technopath!" He pulled out his phone and hovered over Alex's contact in his phone, "Got a signal! This way..." Jake trailed off following a vague signal through dangerous amounts of service station traffic.

Maya had paid for the souvenirs and now looked around to see where Saphira had got to.

"Of course I understand," Tom tapped the boys arm playfully - How is he not, like, offended? Why does he just keep responding?, "And strange isn't strong enough a word for Silverdale..."

Alex whipped out his mobile phone and dialled Sophie's number. He stomped up and down the field he had entered. He had walked out here to avoid all of the noise from the road. No reply. Straight to answer machine. He cleared his throat then bellowed out a message.

"YOU TOLD ME IT WAS MINE. YOU SAID IT WAS FROM OUR LOVE AND OUR HUGS. HOE. BITCHTITS. DOUCHE FAG. Bye bye, call me back. Oh and it's Alex by the way."
